How it works
From one enquiry to the right broker
LendFinder introduces UK limited companies to partner brokers who specialise in business finance. You tell us about your company once, we check it against what our partners can help with, and we introduce you to one that fits.
Step 1: Answer a few questions
How much you need, what it’s for and some basics about your company. We look up the company details from Companies House for you.
Step 2: We check partner criteria
Your answers are checked against the kinds of businesses each of our partner brokers can help.
Step 3: We call you, then introduce you
One of our team calls to understand what you need, then introduces you to a broker that fits.
Step 4: Your broker searches lenders
The broker looks across the lenders they work with and talks you through any options. Going ahead is up to you.
Who can use LendFinder
We only work with UK limited companies (Ltd and PLC) registered at Companies House. We can’t help sole traders or partnerships at the moment. Our partners usually look for:
- A UK limited companyLtd or PLC, registered at Companies House
- Trading for 12 months or moreLenders like to see a track record
- Turnover of £100,000 or moreYour total sales in a year
- A homeowner helpsSome lenders ask, especially for larger amounts
You can still make an enquiry if your company is below these.
What happens to your details
When you type your company name, we look it up at Companies House so you don’t have to enter the address, company number or incorporation date yourself. We use what you tell us to understand what your company needs and which of our partners might help.
Someone from our team calls you before anything is passed on. We tell you which partner we’d like to introduce you to, and only then share your details with them. Our partners are named in our privacy policy.
Filling in our form doesn’t affect your credit score. If you go ahead with a broker or lender, they may run their own checks later and should tell you before they do.
What it costs you
You don’t pay LendFinder anything. Our partner brokers and lenders may pay us a fee for introducing a business to them. Brokers may charge their own fees, which they must explain to you before you agree to anything. There’s no obligation at any stage, and any finance is subject to status and the lender’s own checks.
What LendFinder isn’t
- A lender. We don’t lend money or decide who gets finance.
- A broker. We don’t search lenders, arrange finance or recommend a product.
- An adviser. We don’t give financial advice.
Ready when you are
It takes about a minute, and there’s no obligation.
