Who we are
LendFinder is a trading name of KK Digital Marketing Services Ltd (company no. 12190223), registered office 72 Wembley Park Drive, Wembley, England, HA9 8HB. We are the data controller for the personal information you give us on this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration no. ZC261571. Contact us about your data at support@lendfinder.co.uk.
What we do
We are an introducer. We collect enquiries from UK limited companies looking for business finance, call them to understand what they need, and introduce suitable enquiries to our partner brokers and lenders. We are not a lender or a broker, and we don’t give financial advice.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and mobile number.
- Your answers about your business: how much you want to borrow and why, the type of finance, how long the company has traded, turnover, card takings and whether you own your home.
- Public details about your company from Companies House: name, number, type, status, registered office, incorporation date and industry (SIC) codes.
- Records of our calls and notes our team makes about your enquiry.
- Your consent choices, with the exact wording you saw, the time and your IP address, so we can show what you agreed to.
- How you reached us: advert or campaign tags (such as UTM tags and Meta or Google click IDs), the page you landed on, the referring site, and your device and browser type.
If you tell us your business is a sole trader, partnership or other non-limited business, we stop and don’t keep any of your answers. We only count, anonymously, how many people we couldn’t help.
If you don’t finish the form
Once we’ve confirmed your company is an active UK limited company, we save your answers as you go, including any name, email or mobile number you type, even if you don’t press “Send my enquiry”. We do this so our team can follow up if you were cut off or had a question. We rely on our legitimate interest in helping businesses that started an enquiry with us. We keep unfinished enquiries for 30 days, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time. We only send marketing to you if you ticked the box for it.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To handle your enquiry: calling you, checking your company and introducing you to a partner. Lawful basis: your consent, given with the required tick box, and our legitimate interests in running the service.
- To send you updates by email, phone (including automated calls), SMS or WhatsApp, or post, only for the channels you ticked. Lawful basis: your consent.
- To measure and improve our adverts, only if you accepted marketing cookies. Lawful basis: your consent.
- To prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep records we must keep by law. Lawful basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
With your consent, we share your enquiry with one or more of these partner brokers and lenders:
- Sleek Business (website)
Each partner becomes a data controller for the information we pass them and will give you their own privacy notice. We also use service providers who process data for us under contract: our hosting provider, email delivery, Cloudflare (bot protection), and Meta (advert measurement, only with your cookie consent).
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for 24 months from our last contact with you, then make it anonymous. Consent records are kept for as long as we need to show what you agreed to.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask us to move it to another organisation, and withdraw any consent at any time. Email support@lendfinder.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Where your data is stored
Our servers are in France, in the European Economic Area, which UK law recognises as giving personal data an adequate level of protection. Where a service provider handles data elsewhere, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contract clauses.
